Harriet is a married mother of two grown-up daughters, who lives with her husband in Oxfordshire. Prior to Craniosacral Therapy, she was a professional social photographer, specialising in weddings, christenings, parties, family portraits and various social and sporting engagements.

She came to study Craniosacral Therapy  (CST) with the 'Upledger' Institute as a result of a riding accident and her frustration by the amount of time and lack of improvement she was experiencing with conventional medical treatments.

The CST treatments that she received, following her numerous injuries from riding accidents, changed her life and her life’s path. It also helped to support her through the journey of losing her only sibling, her younger sister, to a long battle with cancer. Six weeks before her sister died, Harriet also lost her mother in a fatal car crash. (Her father died early on in her married life). Without the invaluable support of CST, Harriet would not be where she is now.

In addition to her Oxfordshire-based CST practice, and alongside her post-graduate CranioSacral Therapy degree, Harriet also has a Diploma from the Usia School of Natural Healing in Reiki 1 & 2, together with a Diploma in Swedish Massage, and an Anatomy and Physiology Diploma. Harriet has completed courses on treating the Brain, the Immune System, Chronic Depletion, Somato Emotional Releases, and several dissection classes in Guys Hospital, London. Harriet continues to study neuroscience, nutrition, the effects of the state of our gut health and its influence on the  health of the  brain and our emotional states.

Harriet has also worked with Jill Purce over several years with “Healing the Family and Ancestors” work, learning how the family dynamics of past generations can affect the current and future generations. With Jill, Harriet also learnt the art of Mongolian Overtone chanting – the art of healing through sound.

Aside to CranioSacral Therapy, Harriet develops her spiritual aspect and healing 'skills' under the tuitalage of the world-renowned International Master Healer and Psychic Surgeon, Stephen Turoff.

Harriet has worked as a volunteer in Switzerland for 4 consecutive years, treating PTSD, disabled, ex-servicemen and women, with CST, who have been wounded in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. This charity helps to rehabilitate veterans back into employment. www.supportingwoundedveterans.com 

Harriet understands the importance of releasing physical and emotional unease, distresses, traumas, skeletal realignment, rebalancing energy channels, bringing the body back into alignment, re-establishing health – for without health and happiness, we are just a body.
